Statewide

Celebrate Health

Celebrate Health management has informed the ANMF that a narrow majority of staff have noted Yes to the proposed agreement. View the latest update.

Anglicare

The ANMF wishes to advise members that the Anglicare Tasmania Inc. Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2025 has been approved by the Fair Work Commission (FWC). The agreement will operate from 14 April 2026, and the nominal expiry date is 31 May 2028. The ANMF is engaging with Anglicare management to confirm the date of effect for eligible Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to move to the new highest pay point.

The ANMF continues to have concerns that Anglicare has not passed on to nurses wage increases arising from the Aged Care Work Value case which have been funded by Government. View the new agreement.

Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT)

Voting has opened on Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT) management’s proposed Enterprise Agreement (EA), and the ANMF encourages you to have your say. View the latest update.

Aged Care Campaign

The ANMF remains alert and concerned to hear more Aged Care providers are shifting non-clinical duties such as meal preparation, cleaning and laundry onto direct care workers. In many instances these types of duties cannot be counted towards care minute targets even if they are completed by care workers. The ANMF is conducting surveys with members that have reported these types of duties to understand how many providers are operating in this manner. This data will help establish the ANMF’s Aged Care Campaign. Are you concerned about the quality of care to resident’s, concerned that you are now completing more and more non clinical duties in your shift? Let us know! Send an email to your ANMF Organiser Nicki Hood nicki.hood@anmftas.org.au
