Peacock 1

Thank you to all members who attended and actively engaged in the member meeting on Tuesday 14 April 2026 regarding the benchmarking proposal. Your input and participation are essential in ensuring your voices are represented.

The Tasmanian Health Service (THS) rescheduled the benchmarking meeting from Wednesday 15 April 2026 to Monday 4 May 2026. The ANMF and your Workplace Delegate attended and can now provide the following update on the proposed staffing model. View the latest update.

New Norfolk District Hospital

During our ANMF member meeting on Friday 24 April 2026, you advised that the workload and skill-mix since the implementation of the District Hospitals in Tasmania Safe Staffing (DHiTSS) Model of Care (MoC) at New Norfolk District Hospital (NNDH) continues to impact safe and timely patient care. Your feedback was definitive: the status quo is unsafe and unsustainable. View the latest update.

Updates are correct as of 6 May 2026.
