Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT)

The ANMF is aware of the significant proposal relating to the transfer of Southern Cross Care to Calvary Aged Care. The ANMF is monitoring the proposal closely and understands this proposal is yet to receive Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) approval. The ANMF will keep members up to date as new information is available.

Tandara Lodge

Voting for the proposed Tandara Lodge Community Care Inc. Nursing and General Staff Enterprise Agreement 2026 closed at 0900hrs on Wednesday 7 October 2026. A total of 52 eligible Tandara employees participated in the ballot. Calvary Aged Care

The ANMF were recently sent advice from Calvary Aged Care indicating that the organisation was not in a position to commence bargaining for the now expired agreement. In the meantime, Calvary has made an administration wage increase of 3.27%, to acknowledge that members would miss out on a wage increase otherwise. This wage increase will be back paid to 1 July 2026 and should be paid on Wednesday 28 October 2026. View the latest update

BaptistCare Karingal

The ANMF has received a copy of the Notice of Employee Representational Rights (NERR) which is the first formal step in renegotiating your Enterprise Agreement (EA). The ANMF was well prepared and have issued your endorsed Log of Claims (LoC) to your employer already. The negotiation meetings are scheduled to occur fortnightly; the ANMF is ready to present your claim items for consideration with the next bargaining meeting to occur Tuesday 27 October 2026.  View the latest update

Medea Park

During a recent bargaining meeting Medea Park has put a 3% wage increase on the table for members to consider. Now is the time to consider if this wage increase is acceptable, in line with what you believe is a fair and equable wage, and conditions of employment. Negotiations continue as we work through outstanding claim items.

Corumbene

ANMF members are carefully weighing the significantly improved offer tabled by Corumbene management on Friday 2 October 2026.

  • The offer includes improvements to wages, night shift penalty rates, care worker personal leave and care worker parental leave. View the latest update

Corumbene Care Workers

Feedback from members in our Snap Poll indicates that an increase in the night shift penalty rate to at least 20% is what is required for Corumbene’s bargaining offer to be acceptable to a majority of our care worker members. View the latest update

Updates are correct as of 21 October 2026.
