Ward 7A
Member Update from Meeting – Monday 19 May 2025

The ANMF met with members on Ward 7A to discuss the current benchmarking proposal and a range of other workplace concerns. Members were advised of a proposal to increase staffing by 1 additional nurse on the AM shift weekdays. Those in attendance were supportive, stating this change would significantly improve workloads. Ward 9A

Following strong member feedback to last week’s ANMF survey and in recognition of the highly specialised work conducted on Ward 9A, Tasmanian Health Service (THS) management has confirmed an increase proposal in permanent nursing staff above the original benchmarking proposal, this was received Thursday 22 May 2025.
