Clinical Trials Unit

On behalf of members in the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU), the ANMF has escalated a workload grievance to the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) on Monday 29 September 2025. View the latest update. 

Ward K9 West

The ANMF is pleased to update members on the matter that was referred to the TIC regarding delays to the commencement of the Assistants in Nursing (AINs) that were endorsed in benchmarking for K9 West well over a year ago. View the latest update.

Department of Medical Imaging

The ANMF appeared before the TIC on Wednesday 1 October 2025 regarding the ongoing workload grievance impacting members in the Department of Medical Imaging (DMI) at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH). View the latest update. 

Rapid Assessment Medical Unit A3

Thank you to everyone who attended the Rapid Assessment Medical Unit (RAMU) A3 member meeting on Tuesday 30 September 2025 and for your strong engagement in the discussion. Following the meeting, the ANMF has written to management on behalf of members to formally raise your key concerns and requests. View the latest update. 

Centre for Education and Research

The ANMF met with members of the Centre for Education and Research (CER) on Thursday 18 September 2025 to discuss concerns regarding the finalised change proposal, inclusive of supporting documentation (FAQ and endorsed structure paper).  

Members noted this proposal was submitted to, and has been sitting with, the Chief Executive – Hospitals South (CEHS) for review and endorsement since Friday 11 April 2025. Despite the ANMF formally writing to the CEHS seeking an update, no response has yet been received. View the latest update. 

Ward K10 West

The ANMF met with members from K10 West on Wednesday 1 October 2025 to discuss current workplace matters.  

The ANMF has been advised that the K10 West benchmarking meeting scheduled for the end of October has been delayed. At this stage, no new date has been provided. Once a new date is confirmed, the ANMF will reconvene with members to provide the benchmarking proposal and seek your feedback. View the latest update.
