Anglicare

The ANMF is following closely the Fair Work Commission’s (FWC’s) consideration of the Anglicare Enterprise Agreement (EA). Anglicare conducted an all-staff ballot on the agreement between Wednesday 8 October and Monday 20 October 2025. View the latest update.

Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT)

The ANMF has been attending bargaining meetings with Southern Cross Care Tasmanian Branch (SCCT) since September 2025. View the latest update. 

Celebrate Health Care

This week Celebrate Health Care (formally May Shaw) put forward a new offer for the Enterprise Agreement (EA). This follows the previous offer being rejected by 60% of respondents in an all staff ballot conducted by the employer in late January 2026. View the latest update. 

Regis Aged Care

After a very lengthy gap in negotiations, Regis Aged Care finally responded to the ANMFs request to reconvene bargaining, with Regis Aged Care revising the tabled wage offer. Regis Aged Care is now prepared to offer a flat 3% for 2026, 2027 and 2028 for Nurses while Aged Care employees were offered 4%, then 3.5%, 3%. Following providing feedback on the wage offer, Regis Aged Care has gone quite again. 

Aged Care Agreements

The Fair Work Commissioner has approved the Eskleigh Foundation agreement but has requested undertaking and/or further information for the Anglicare and the Aged Care Deloraine Agreements. Once the ANMF receives notice these have been approved, we will inform our members, and the new agreements will be available on our website for ease of reference. 

Aged Care Campaign

The ANMF remains alert and concerned to hear more Aged Care providers are shifting non-clinical duties such as meal preparation, cleaning and laundry onto direct care workers. In many instances these types of duties cannot be counted towards care minute targets even if they are completed by care workers. The ANMF is conducting surveys with members that have reported these types of duties to understand how many providers are operating in this manner. This data will help establish the ANMFs Aged Care Campaign. Are you concerned about the quality of care to resident’s, concerned that you are now completing more and more nonclinical duties in your shift? Let us know! North

Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT) Ainslie Low Head

During a recent meeting with members, concerns were raised around clinical governance, workloads and the safe delivery of care to residents. The ANMF has written to Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT) local management to raise these concerns, with the request that the concerns raised are addressed in a meaningful way, so the delivery of evidence based clinically lead care is provided to the residents in care at Ainslie Low Head. OneCare Rubicon Grove

A recent visit by the ANMF gave members the opportunity to raise serious concerns about workplace culture, clinical handovers and gaps within resident care with union officials. View the latest update. 

Tandara Lodge

After meeting with members, the ANMF has taken your feedback into consideration, and a revised Log of Claims (LoC) has now been completed. Members should receive an invitation to reconsider the LoC, and if it reflects your wishes, we ask you to endorse the claim so we can present this to your employer at the first bargaining meeting. Toosey Aged Care

Our industrial officer has emailed your employer requesting to see the full draft agreement before the ANMF can offer in principle agreement depending upon the offer contained within the agreement. We are working closely to ensure the agreement can be progressed as quickly as possible. 

North West

Respect Aged Care Coroneagh Park

The ANMF has heard from members at Coroneagh Park regarding serious and ongoing workload pressures caused by unsafe staffing levels. Members have reported that a large proportion of direct-care staff finish at 1300hrs, leaving only six care workers responsible for approximately 75 residents during the busy afternoon period. This situation is further compounded by the high number of residents requiring two staff assistance for personal care and transfers. View the latest update. 

Wynyard Care Centre

It has been a full year since negotiations properly commenced with Wynyard Care Centre (Synovum Care Group) (your Employer) for a replacement Enterprise Agreement (EA) to improve your wages and conditions. Throughout this period, the ANMF team has remained in regular contact with your Employer to communicate the issues and priorities raised by members. View the latest update. 

Baptcare Karingal

During a recent visit to Baptcare Karingal members raised concerns around the number of non-clinical duties being performed by direct care workers who, traditionally, would not complete these non- clinical duties, such as delivering meals. View the latest update. 

Melaleuca Home for the Aged

The ANMF thanks members who have engaged throughout the Log of Claims (LoC) consultation phase, we have now collected all your endorsed claims and are prepared to meet with your employer. Once we have the bargaining schedule, we will keep our members informed.  View the latest update.  

Meercroft Care Inc

The ANMF is writing to update members about the proposed new EA with Meercroft Care Inc. (your Employer) for employees at Meercroft Care. View the latest update.

Menarock

As we reach the final stages of bargaining for your new Enterprise Agreement (EA) at Menarock, a significant issue has come to light regarding Paid Parental Leave. View the latest update. 

Huon Regional Care 

Huon Regional Care management has responded favourably to our request to start the bargaining process. Following the input members provided in our Bargaining Priorities Snap Poll, the ANMF is seeking endorsement for our draft Log of Claims for Huon Regional Care. View the latest update.  

Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT) Rosary Gardens

SCCT management has offered Voluntary Redundancies (VRs) to most of the Rosary Gardens (RG) staff who expressed interest and will continue to consider expressions of interest made before the deadline of 1400hrs on Tuesday 24 March 2026. View the latest update.
